A quick photoshoot with Tokyo based DJ, Tum. This is another place I’d had my eye on as a potential shoot location for some time, it is (was) a vacated block of apartments covered in ivy near Nakano station in Tokyo. The balance of green, wooden slatted walls and graffiti really caught my eye the first time I stumbled across it and I knew immediately I wanted to shoot some portraits there. The next time I passed there was a sign outside saying the building was due to be demolished the following week, so I had to act quick if I wanted to get a shoot done there! I contacted Tum, who I have worked with once before and we spent twenty minutes or so creating some new profile shots for him. I’m happy to have caught this place on camera before it disappeared and really happy with how the shots came out!
