A collaboration shoot with Japanese car manufacturer Lexus, documenting the traditional crafts that influence aspects of their contemporary car design. Lexus cite the decorative Japanese woodcraft practice of marquetry known as Yosegi as one of their core influences. Mr Ota, who is based in Hakone, is generally considered one of the modern-day masters of this 400+ year-old craft.
