Tiger Wood School   Location: Japan

Tiger Wood School was a small, two-story Elementary School built in 1964, and situated on the outskirts of a small village in the Kansai region of Japan. It had just eight rooms in total, where students studied, played, and ate lunch. Each of the eight rooms has spectacular views over the surrounding mountains.

The school was forced to close its doors in 1991 due to a lack of young people in the area, and has sat empty ever since. Inside there are various items left behind including an array of musical instruments, a record player, chairs, desks and the lyrics to the school anthem hand-painted on a large board.
